Always find myself waiting to the last minute to send out cards. I really wanted to print some this year. Options were fairly limited on paper colors so had to use what I had on hand – but with the wife’s approval – the snow theme seemed to work well with this Blu Raspberry coverstock from French Paper. If you can’t tell from the image – the “snowflakes” are made up of old school Christmas lights. I mixed a little transparent base so the white wasn’t so overbearing – the red has a little silver metallic to make it shine a bit. All in all – I was pretty happy with how they came out (but was not very happy about cutting all of them out by hand!) especially for an afternoons worth of work. After all were cut out – we used a corner punch to finish – was definitely worth all the punching. I’m thinking next year, might try some out on the site – just can’t wait to the last minute again!

Graphic design robot by day, screen print robot by night - HumanShapedRobot was created as a home for prints I do in my free time. More recently the SpareRobotParts Blog was created to stay more up-to-date with print news, process threads, showcase unfinished projects and random inspiration from around the interwebs.
